Good cleanliness habits are inculcated in early childhood. Keeping that in mind we had planned a hygiene week to instill the idea that staying clean helps keep us healthy. Children were told to take a bath every day, wear clean clothes and to wash their hands frequently. Children were also taught the proper way of washing hands. The importance of washing their hands before meals and after using the restroom was reinforced. The correct way of brushing was demonstrated and the importance of brushing twice a day was taught. Various rhymes and stories reiterated the concept of hygiene and fitness.
