Celebrations
Celebrating diversity, exploring cultures, honoring traditions
"In the Montessori environment, celebrating holidays and festivals is an important and exciting study for the students that focuses on the tradition and rituals of celebrations."
Students experience engaging lessons that highlight the beauty and diversity of celebrations around the world. Through exploring holidays and traditions, children learn how communities honor values, come together, and celebrate with joy and meaning.
Following Montessori principles of inclusion and respect, these activities help children appreciate differences while recognizing what unites us all. National events, holidays, and cultural festivals—such as Independence Day, Republic Day, and other special occasions—are integrated into the curriculum to deepen children’s understanding of the world and their place in it.
