It is so much easier to say to the children, "Follow where I lead, and no one will get lost." Nonetheless, with careful observation and planning, our teachers at GD Goenka remain constantly alert to the direction each child is heading and actively work to help them succeed.

At GD Goenka La Petite Gk-l, our aim at all levels is to nurture each child's individual strengths and interests. Our education encourages children to explore their world and to understand and respect the life forms, systems, and forces of which it consists.

The role of the school is to give an environment that resonates with practical life, follow the child's interest and needs, and prepare an environment that is educationally interesting and safe. To lead the child to discover his/her own truth and develop his/her own abilities to observe and analyze and provide materials and activities for the child's sensitive periods of learning.

To translate our beliefs into an actual environment, we are boasting of child-friendly infrastructure. Latest outdoor slides and swings, a golf course, a traffic park, and an upgraded daycare. We have improved the level of curriculum and delivery by having trained and competent faculty. For this we have an in-house Montessori Teacher Training Program, which is also open to young mothers who are planning to opt for a career in teaching.

Thus, our goal of early childhood education is to activate the child's own natural desire to learn. It's a lifelong process; children need our love, acceptance, and guidance. They need the space to make mistakes, the encouragement to pick up and start over, the experience of "doing it in my way," and the freedom to be and explore in a safe environment. They need to grapple with difficulties, using their heart. Graceful observation of the true self requires living fully; your child will experience all that and more at our living Montessori.
